Youth Peer Support Specialist – part-time contract position for an adult between the ages of 18-26 to provide support to youth in services. The youth specialist provides assistance to the youth in obtaining the skills needed to be successful with family relationships, friendships, education, and community involvement. The Youth Specialist must have personal experience having received services as a youth (behavioral health, child welfare, juvenile justice, special education, etc.) and be willing to self-identify as having received such services in order to help other youth. Candidate must be willing to travel, participate in required training, and have reliable transportation. Range of pay is $14-16 to start, depending on experience and level of education.
