POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for planning, organizing, and oversight of the day-to-day operational issues of clinical and clerical staff for the Niles Clinic. Ensures that a collaborative, team approach of management/leadership between clinicians, physicians and administration. Works collaboratively with Supervisors/Manager (s) of other services performed at all locations. Provides leadership and creates vision for staff resulting in an understanding and a belief in recovery, co-occurring services and integrated health care. Applies culturally competent recovery-based practices, trauma informed culture of safety to aid individuals in their recovery process and person-centered planning as a shared decision-making process with the individual, who defines their own life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path toward reaching the goals.

EDUCATION: Licensed Master’s Degree in an appropriate discipline.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: Five or more years of progressive responsibility in behavioral health management. Thorough knowledge of MDHHS policies and procedures, consumer flow, inter-department relationships, and data systems. A high level of written and oral communication skills, problem solving, listening skills and collaboration building and negotiating skills.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS: Registered with the State of Michigan as a LMSW, LLP, or LPC. CMPE or FACMPE preferred

SUPERVISES: Therapist/Social Workers, Clinical Assistant, RN, LPN, Medical Assistant, Financial Intake
