Sherri Rushman is an Author, Education Specialist and Certified Peer Support Specialist for Oakland Community Health Network. Sherri has dedicated her life to supporting people with disabilities and their families. She has been a licensed Social Worker in Michigan since 1998 and a Certified Peer Support Specialist since 2006.
She published her first book in 2023, Catching Hope: Hope Givers, Hope Receivers & Hope Stealers, that synthesizes her Catching Hope principles with her research and experiences.
Sherri presents keynote addresses at workshops, webinars, conferences and conducts courses for social worker continuing education credits on the following topics:
- Catching Hope: Hope Givers, Hope Receivers and Hope Stealers
- The Power of Positive Thinking
- Worry Less with Wellness Recovery Action Planning (“WRAP”)
- Defeat Loneliness with WRAP.
